in memory

April 23, 2007

Today, about 7:30 pm, Betty Lou Hobbs, my grandmother, my mother’s mother, passed away.

Her last few years were hard. Her last few breathes were easy. She went in peace.

Please keep my family in your thoughts.

  1. Hey D, you and yours are in my prayers. Let me know if you need anything.

  2. Arg, am trying to call you. My phone is wonky.

  3. You all are in my prayers hun. *HUGS* I love ya and I wish I could find your number!

  4. I’m wishing you as much peace and comfort as you can have in your mourning.

  5. I clicked through from IB to introduce myself and welcome you to IB and find I’ve arrived at exactly the worst time! I don’t know you, my dear, but from one blogger to another, my deepest sympathies and condolences. All I can say is when they tell you that time heals, look ’em straight in the eye and tell ’em it didn’t do much for your addiction to platitudes, did it? I will however, tell you this: stories heal. So get through it, be strong, and write her down.
